The second British Islam Conference was held during 25-26 February 2017. It was attended by 250 people, had 57 speakers and was held at the Human Rights Action Centre, Amnesty International UK, London.
The keynote speaker was Karen Armstrong OBE. The event was supported by Coventry University and the Church Urban Fund.
The #BritishIslam2017 trended at no 5 on Twitter during the event, with 2.7million impressions! There was media coverage on: BBC Radio 4, 12 BBC local radio stations, The Daily Star, Hackney Gazette, Asian Image and Jewish News. Blogs including: Huffington Post, Implausiblog, About Islam covered the event.
