Following the success of the Great Get Together, New Horizons in British Islam worked with a group of young Muslims in Blackburn and Leicester to take part in the Great Christmas Get Together. It is a legacy of the murdered MP Jo Cox who said we all have more in common than that which divides us.

As part of this, teenagers in Blackburn and Leicester volunteered their time to residents of care homes.

ITV News, BBC News and a variety of local newspapers picked up this story which has been seen tens of thousands of times.
